Spoon Model in Salome-Platform

Here is my model of a spoon.
Designing Process
1) Design top and side view of the spoon in DraftSight. Then go to Salome and import the spoon.
2) Draw arcs and use operation "fillet" to create the bowl.
3) Create face where the bowl meets the handle.
4) Use operation "extrusion along path" to make handle. To get the desired shape, using operation "partition." (Extrude wire of the handle in top view, and use it as tool object.)
5) If the thickness of the pipe is not constant, explode the pipe into faces and use the bottom faces of the spoon to create a smooth face. Use operation "extrusion" to create constant thickness.
During the making of 3D model, the bowl and the handle could not fuse correctly.
The problem was fixed by using operation "partition" to create opening around the defected area between bowl and handle. Operation "filling" was used to create faces in the opening. These faces were built into a solid that could be fused with the bowl and the handle.
