Bottle in Salome-Platform
Here is my model of a 1 gallon bottle.
Make bottle using operation "filling." Close the filling with faces and create solid.
Next, create a solid in order to cut the handle. Position the solid in appropriate place and use operation "mirror" to copy it to the other side. Leave some space between the solids to make handle. Cut the bottle using the two solids as tool objects.
In order to cut hole in the handle, create wire on both sides using the edges of the cut.
Create faces between the wires using operation "filling."
Fuse the faces and use that as tool to partition the bottle. Explode the partition to get the final bottle with handle.
The volume of the bottle after last operation was 268.48 cubic inches.
1gal=231cub. inch.
The scale ratio to get 1 gallon is found by formula.
(268.46/231)^(1/3)
