Practical Project: Table Design #2


Here is my second design of the table.

This table is made from square aluminum framing found on McMaster.
The table is put together with connectors and fasteners (also from McMaster).
The plank is not fastened to the table. It is meant to stay in place from the weight of items on the table.
   
The advantage of the aluminum framing is simplicity, and easy assembly.
The disadvantage is limited design (can only position parts where the holes are).

Later concept was made with struts to add flexibility to design.
